With a history of 1300 years, Yamanaka Onsen prospered as an elegant hot spring district during the period when the region was known as Kaga Hyakumangoku, where visitors would flock in from Maeda and Daishoji Domains. Even Poet Basho highly praised Yamanaka Onsen as one of the three best hot springs in Japan. We hope, you will enjoy a dip in this famous traditional hot spring of "Kiku-no-yu".
