Mugen-an Art Gallery "Yo" Izumo-do
Kaga Clan Samurai Library. One of the best wooden structure during the latter Meiji Era. (Entry fee: \500) Try your hands on making paper craft - you can feel the softness, the strength and the warmth of Japanese Washi Paper. You can find various tablewares that will lighten up your daily lives. You can also enjoy the cafe inside the shop.
Matsubara Chinese Pottery Shop Mankichiya Lacquerware Store Kubode Sake Club
Feel the charm of ancient Chinese potteries and porcelains that have a history of 5000 years. Numerous original items created by artists designated as National Human Treasures as well as young talents. You will sure find one to your liking. Wouldn't it be nice to have your own sake cup for a cup of delicious sake? You can also enjoy the cafe inside the shop.

You can also try your hands on the pottery wheel.

Inside the "Yamanaka Lacquerware Traditional Industry Mu", you can learn all about Yamanaka Lacquerware and its 400-year tradition and history. Try your hands on making your own bowl! The fine skill is combined with the natural glaze of lacquer.
Kokubunzan Ioji Temple Kaga Local Sake Brewery "Tsuji"
If you're lucky, you might be able to listen to the buddhist sermons and Yamanaka-bushi Folk Song, sung by the head priest.
 Offers local Kaga Sake and mountain veggies. Enjoy a relaxing chat at Gallery "Tsuji" over a cup of sake. Exhibition of our original Yamanaka Lacquerware and other art objects by young Kutaniyaki Porcelain artists. We also offer green tea and coffee to our customers.

You will find music boxes made with Yamanaka Lacquerware and antique music boxes here. You can also enjoy a live piano performance at this shop.
